Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 tablespoons peanut butter
- Black pepper, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Maggi seasoning, to taste
- Ketjap or soy sauce, to taste
Preparation
- Boil the chicken in a small amount of salted water until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the water and cut it into bite-size pieces.
- Season the chicken with a little black pepper, salt, Maggi seasoning, and ketjap, then let it rest for a few minutes.
- Meanwhile, sauté the onions with the garlic and bell pepper until they begin to lightly brown.
- Add the sautéed vegetables to the seasoned chicken along with the oil and chicken bouillon cubes.
- Let everything simmer together for about 10 minutes.
- Mix the peanut butter with 2 cups of hot water and stir until it becomes smooth and creamy.
- Pour the peanut butter sauce over the chicken.
- Stir well and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
- Cover and let the chicken simmer for another 10 minutes.
