    Ingredients

    Meat Ball:

    • 1 ½ lbs of ground beef
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 1 chopped onion
    • â…“ chopped bell pepper
    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
    • a pinch of salt
    • ½ teaspoon cumin
    • ½ teaspoon Goya Complete Seasoning
    • 1 tablespoon Maggi
    • 1 teaspoon mango chutney
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 3 slices white bread
    • 2 beaten eggs

    Sauce:

    • 1 chopped onion
    • 1 chopped tomato
    • â…” chopped bell pepper
    • 1 small meat cube
    • ½ teaspoon cumin
    • ½ teaspoon Goya Complete Seasoning
    • ½ teaspoon curry powder
    • 1 tablespoon pickles
    • 1 teaspoon mango chutney
    • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce asin
    • About ½ cup of water


    Preparation

    Meat Ball :

    1. Heat the margarine and fry the onion and peppers until soft.
    2. Soak the slices of bread a few minutes in water.
    3. Squeeze out the water, remove the crust off and break it into small pieces.
    4. Mix the grounded beef, onion, pepper, garlic powder, salt, cumin, Complete Seasoning, maggi, mango chutney and Italian seasoning together.
    5. Add mix the bread and whipped eggs and everything.
    6. Shape into meatballs and push it slightly flat.
    7. Heat a layer of oil in a frying pan and fry the balls on a medium flame on both sides until brown and tender.
    8. Remove the meatballs from the pan and use about 6 tablespoons of the leftover oil to make the sauce.

    Sauce:

    1. Heat oil and fry the onion, tomato and peppers until soft.
    2. Add the beef stock cube, cumin powder, Complete Seasoning and curry powder.
    3. Mix well and simmer for 30 seconds.
    4. Add pickles, mango chutney, tomato paste, soy sauce asin and water and mix it all.
    5. Leave cooking for a couple of minutes 
    6. Add the meatballs and simmer for 1 minute on medium heat.
    7. Can be served with rice and / or spaghetti or rice with beans.
